Why did you sign up for an HBS Online course?
I believe learning has to continue and felt this program would provide good exposure to other alternative investment asset classes.
What did you enjoy most about learning with HBS Online?
The HBS Online platform and faculty were awesome. I've taken a lot of paid online courses, but the HBS Online experience was close to that of the classroom and highly immersive. The ways in which topics were covered and case studies were discussed with guest speakers who'd lived through them were truly remarkable. The platform also enabled a lot of networking opportunities.
How are you applying what you learned in the course you took?
I work with private equity clients and their portfolio companies on a daily basis, and some of the topics the course covered have helped me dive deep and gain perspectives from them, which enables me serve to them in a truly customer-focused manner.
Do you have any additional advice for people who will be taking HBS Online courses?
The programs are rigorous; plan your time well. Some of the questions posed as the course progresses are thought-provoking and require time. Also, read what others have shared and participate. Discussing others' points of view helps sharpen yours, and you all learn together.
