Why did you decide to sign up for Negotiation Mastery?

I became the owner of my own company in a foreign country and the few negotiating experiences I had were in the US; I felt I should improve my techniques to properly lead my company. I signed up for Negotiation Mastery to practice negotiation with people from all different backgrounds, learn new techniques, and hopefully gain confidence for my new "high stakes" negotiations with people of different cultures.

What was your favorite part of the program?

I have two favorite parts of the program. One was, of course, the actual negotiations which helped boost my confidence and gain important insight about myself and others. The other was the videos of the "guest speakers". The videos were extremely well shot and I felt privileged to be able to listen to the wisdom of some of the amazingly successful expert negotiators from all over the world.

How are you applying the skills you've learned in Negotiation Mastery?

I am using some of the negotiation preparation techniques from the course in different aspects of my job. Overall, I feel more confident in situations that might have once felt intimidating.

Any advice for people who will be taking Negotiation Mastery?

Make sure to read the articles posted by other students. I read some incredibly interesting articles that were shared by fellow participants.

Why do you think it’s important to continue your education and keep learning?

As a teacher, I think it is very important to continue learning. When we learn, we expand our views, gain confidence, intelligence and, most importantly, grow and evolve as people.

What’s the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Do what you love.
