I decided to participate in Management Essentials to learn, develop and improve my managerial skills.
What was your favorite part of the program?
My favorite part of the program was interacting with my cohort members where I received valuable shared experiences, feedback and was able to be a thought partner around strategies and best practices in varying scenarios.
How are you applying the skills you've learned in Management Essentials?
I have been applying many aspects of my learning throughout the course. I manage existing programs and I am also responsible for developing new programs and partnerships for educators within our school district. The most impactful learning I've been able to take advantage of to date is how to strategically implement new programs. By having a better understanding of the key concepts of implementation I have a clearer perspective of potential concerns before they arise. This has been a huge help!
Any advice for people who will be taking Management Essentials?
Spend the required time really listening to the videos and really participate as a thought partner with your classmates it really makes the experience one of substance and rich collaboration.
