Why did you decide to sign up for Leading with Finance?
To bring myself up to date with the latest thinking and techniques in finance.
What was your favorite part of the program?
The program was very well structured, and the cases protagonists were highly qualified and relevant. They helped to bring the program alive. I met some great people along the way and made some good friends. The platform is a great learning tool, and I enjoyed the fact that the platform lets you interact with fellow students to share and learn from each other.
How are you applying the skills you've learned in Leading with Finance?
I use what I learned on a daily basis. Even though I'm not in a finance role and operating in a general management position, I need to make decisions utilizing the principles we learned on a daily basis. The course empowered me to do that with confidence.
Any advice for people who will be taking Leading with Finance?
I found the pace to be manageable within a busy schedule since the Harvard Business School Online platform gives you a high degree of control within the context of each weekly module. But, it's still challenging. You need to make sure you put time aside each week to participate fully—time management is key.
