Why did you sign up for an HBS Online course?
I signed up for CORe because I want to pursue an MBA, and it's the best online course to master business fundamentals. I'm also interested in finance and investments. I trade in the stock market and wanted to explore alternative ways to invest. Now, I can proudly say I have knowledge of traditional and alternative ways of investment.
What did you enjoy most about learning with HBS Online?
The virtual, interactive platform was unique. I was continuously engaged with the course's material and learned a lot from my peers. The course's structure and platform continuously forced me to learn more.
How are you applying what you learned in the courses you took?
It changed the way I look at businesses. Now, I understand their financials and product differentiation strategies. If they frequently change their user interfaces, it tells me about hypothesis testing. New fundraising activities (mostly in venture capital) tell me about a business's potential.
Do you have any additional advice for people who will be taking HBS Online courses?
I suggest giving more time to each and every activity on the course platform. If you think and discuss more, you'll learn more.
