Why did you decide to sign up for Negotiation Mastery?
I have had such a great experience with the other Harvard Business School Online courses I participated in, and this was the next logical step. Additionally, I spend a lot of my current job negotiating marketing partnerships and collaborations so I thought this would be extra helpful.
What was your favorite part of the program?
The real-time negotiations. It was certainly nerve-wracking but was the thing that prepared me best for true negotiations. I also ended up learning a lot from my counterparts of things to do and not do in any future negotiations.
How are you applying what you’ve learned in Negotiation Mastery?
Weekly, I negotiate strategic partnerships for my company, and Negotiation Mastery has given me additional skills that I have put into practice and have resulted in much more successful agreements.

Approach each real-time negotiation as a learning experience, rather than a win or lose situation.
